In December 2021, a small masked and mighty crowd came out to hear the first preview Where Were You in’72? ~ a revue with Briar Boake and musician friends Peter Mueller and David Johannesson.
Since then, the show has been seen in other church halls, yards, house parties, clubs and pubs and festival stages like Kempenfest in Barrie and 3 sold out shows at the Porchside Festival in Collingwood, July 2024.
It still continues to be a joyride into the time where peace activism met the galvanizing force of music and produced an eclectic era in musical pop. An unequalled creative synergy brought singers and songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Crosby Still Nash and Young, Carly Simon and bands like the Doobie Brothers to the forefront and the radio airwaves produced a unique soundtrack of the times. The early 70’s are full of songs, stories and reflections.
