Dear Graceview Family,
As we approach the beginning of September, I hope you’ve had a restful and joyful summer. It’s always a delight to see familiar faces returning as we kick off another church season filled with opportunities to grow in faith and community.
We have some exciting news to share! First, we’re thrilled to announce that we expect our new Music Director to join us in early October. In the meantime, our beloved brother in Christ, Harry Learoyd, has graciously offered to cover for the rest of this transition period. His support is a true blessing, and we can’t wait to see how our new hire’s gifts will enhance our worship and music ministry. Please keep this transition in your prayers as we look forward to welcoming them into our Graceview family.
Additionally, I’m excited to let you know that we’ll be continuing our Bible Study on the gospel drama series, “The Chosen”. This has been such a meaningful journey for us, and we’ll pick up right where we left off. Mark your calendars—Bible Study will resume on Tuesday, September 24th at 11 am, same time and place as before. It’s a wonderful chance to dive deeper into the life and teachings of Jesus together.
As we look forward to this new season, I’m also delighted to announce that I’ve created a donation page for our church to support the “Walk, Run, Bike for Thriving Communities” event organized by Knox College. This event, taking place throughout October, is a fantastic opportunity for us to support vibrant congregations and promote spiritual and mental health. Our weekly Community Walk is a great way to get started, and I encourage you to participate in this initiative.

At Graceview, we are guided by our Mission Statement – to worship God, to spread His word, and to serve communities near and far. May this new church season bring us closer to fulfilling this mission in all we do.

My God richly bless,
Pastor Eric
