Are you ready for a journey?
In the Christian tradition, the season of Lent is a journey over forty days (not including Sundays) towards the pivotal events of Jesus’ final days of his earthly ministry we call Holy Week. It is a time of thoughtful reflection and practice for those who seek to love and follow Jesus in the world today. The exciting thing is this Lenten journey is not one we make alone. Rather, we do so in the company of fellow followers of Jesus, knit together as the church around the world.
To accompany us on this journey, we invite you to download the Lenten Devotion Guide provided by St. Andrew’s Hall. This guide offers daily Bible readings, reflections, and prayers to help deepen our faith as we prepare our hearts for the joy of Easter.
“I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'” – Psalm 91:2 NIV
As we begin Lent together, we also encourage you to take part in these meaningful gatherings:
World Day of Prayer – This Saturday at 10 AM, join us in prayer as we unite with Christians worldwide in worship and intercession.
Lenten Lunches – Starting next Tuesday at 12 PM, come for a time of fellowship and simple meals as we reflect on this sacred season.
May this Lenten season draw us closer to God and to one another as we journey together toward the hope of resurrection.
