Spring is my favourite season. I love to see my perennials peek their little heads above the ground and start their journey into full bloom. It is like greeting an old friend whom you have not seen during those dark, cold months of winter. Everything is being reborn. My drive to church along Rathburn this past week has been absolutely breathtaking. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and the road looks like it is bordered by lovely pink cotton candy. Saturday morning dawned cold and wet with Margaret and her helpers, Alice, Anthony, Caroline, Dedan, Godfrey, Jackson, Njeri (Susan), Paul, Samuel, Tabbia, and William, waiting for Maureen to open the church and let them in. Since we have just experienced a solar eclipse, I wondered how many times an eclipse was referenced in the Bible. Here is what I found!
The Bible contains a number of references that are understood as referring to eclipses, both solar and lunar.
